The footage for this video was filmed during the visit of the QM2 to Greenock on the 19th October 2009. The initial shots were filmed from 7am-8am approximately as the ship manoeuvred into position at the dock. Further footage of the ship in dock was filmed in the afternoon when the miserable weather cleared for a short time. The ship was then filmed as it left dock in the evening, quite a bit later than scheduled. All the shots of the ship manoeuvring were filmed with the intention of speeding up the footage for a time-lapse video, so camera movements were kept to an absolute minimum. Editing was kept simple so that the turnaround on the video was as short as possible. Still photos taken by myself on the day were used for the title screens.
